Margaret Thatcher

Margaret Thatcher

Margaret Thatcher

She came into power in 1979
A woman prime minster
The first of her kind

An uncompromising woman
whose politics were harsh
the rich became richer
and the poor had less cash

She destroyed the trade unions
and industry in whole
A formidable woman
she put lots on the dole.

The Hillsborough disaster
well what can I say.
She did nowt for the victims
still no justice today.

Then there the Falklands
she was decisive and direct
To sink the General Belgrano
surely she had some regret

Nick named the ‘Iron Lady’
a heart carved from ice
She showed no compassion
her words cut like a knife

Her legacy they say
is she made Britain great
She destroyed our great nation
and she inbred pure hate
She divides opinion

This Baroness Thatcher
I’ll always remember her
as the evil milk snatcher.
