The Non-Corrupted Mind

Found this among my poems must of wrote it a few months back

and never published it so i thought i would share it today.

The Non-Corrupted Mind

Kids are so amazing.
They seem to have no fear.
They face life head on,
as if the road ahead is clear.

We all come in different shapes and sizes
and have different states of mind.
Kids tend to see the person,
not a difference of any kind.

They don’t see kids with aspergers,
dyslexia and dyspraxia too.
What they do see is a friend
not like me and you.

They don’t differentiate in colour,
religion or belief.
They just want someone to play with
and not to give them grief.

Adults make allowances.
It singles people out.
Whereas kids will just include them
whenever their about.

We could learn a lot from kids
emotionally they’re clued up.
They except a person for who they are
and not their genetic make up.

Children just get on with things,
even if they struggle every day.
They will tackle every obstacle,
that life puts in their way.

Differences is just a word
it really counts for nothing
It’s a person personality and heart
that should really count for something.

Ah love the message in your poem. Especially love that last verse because it is so true. Very nicely written. Great piece. 🙂
