The Bee-Cycle

The Bee-Cycle

The Bee-Cycle

‘Buzz Buzz’ went the bee.
Buzzing round the flowers.
A busy little bee,
works for hours and hours.

‘Buzz Buzz’ goes the bee,
collecting all the nectar.
Goes from flower to flower,
across sector by sector.

‘Buzz Buzz’ goes the bee,
collecting pollen for it’s hive.
This is it’s purpose,
the reason why it’s alive.

‘Buzz Buzz’ goes the bee,
making loads of honey.
Working really hard,
making me some money.

‘Buzz Buzz’ goes the bee,
flying round about.
As it gets closer,
I start to scream and shout.

‘Buzz Buzz’ goes the bee,
the annoying little thing.
I flip and I flap,
and it decides to sting.

No longer does the bee ‘Buzz’!
It lies motionless on the ground.
It has served it’s purpose,
and no longer makes a sound.

Aww, and it started off as such a happy little poem. It’s so sad when things lose their supposed purpose in life and are discard for that reason.
