What Is Love?

What Is Love?

What is Love?

We went to a school and into a class.
To tell us what is love?
Was the kids only task.

Some kids started to chat,
others to giggle.
Some deep in thought
and some of them wriggled.

My Nana is old, so now her toes she can’t paint.
So my Papa does it
Although sometimes he feels like he’ll faint.

The kids become louder as they move in there seats
Anxious now to give there answers
of what makes love so neat.

Love makes you smile
when your tired and wore out
Loves like a blanket,
another shouts out.

Love is to give someone the best of your food
While you take the scraps
even though they’re no good.

Love is like Christmas
its a feeling in the room
When everyone’s laughter and smiles
reach as high as the moon.

If you want to love better,
be nice to someone you hate.
Then before you know it that someone’s a mate.

Love is when your opinion
is the only one that matters
if you had not to support them
their whole world would shatter

Love is when you know someone inside and out.
Love is to forgive them
even although you scream and you shout.

Love is my mummy,
when she puts me to bed
Love is my daddy
who makes sure I’m clothed and I’m fed.

Love is when your scared
and nothing seems real.
Love is a look that says I understand how you feel.

Love is a feeling
that makes you feel good.
If you don’t mean it don’t say it
that is just simply rude.

When outside the class my heart full with joy
What wonderful answers
from such small girls and boys.

The final answer
came from a boy aged 6 called Steve
An answer form someone so young
I could of never perceived.

Love is when you sit and help someone cry.
When life seems impossible
and they don’t understand why.

Even for an adult
do define love is hard
So the answers from the kids
caught us all a bit of guard.
