They say we’re different,
in some ways we’re freaks.
Some say we’re nerds,
others say geeks.

They say we’re too tall,
we will never fit in.
We don’t even look like
the rest of our kin.

They say we’re quiet,
and some of us never speak.
They assume because we’re quiet,
we will also be weak.

They say some of us are fat
and some of us thin
Make stupid remarks
and on their face wear a grin.

Yes we are different
and in some ways unique.
Think what you like,
we’ve our own little clique

Misfits to society,
we don’t hold a grudge.
We know how it feels,
so we try not to judge.

The next time you judge
a book by its cover
Remember the misfit
will be someone’s sister or brother.

If they call you a misfit,
just thank them a smile
Its really a compliment,
it means you have your own special style
